Buckhaven Lodge is a true paradise for families or two couples looking for a peaceful getaway in the Georgia mountains. We felt very safe throughout our stay, as the lodge is part of a large, well-maintained community with access to excellent amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and more.
The lodge itself is beautifully equipped to a high standard, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is cozy, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the door.
We spent a wonderful week exploring the area with plenty of scenic hikes, relaxing both indoors and on the outdoor deck, and after a quick drive, you can enjoy a relaxing float downstream.
We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Buckhaven Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain retreat surrounded by nature.
